aqua blue spraying

I have a confession.  I am addicted to...spray painting.  I find my cheap treasures at garage sales or around the house, setup outside and start covering everything with paint.  Here's what I've been up to...

I bought a cute little tea light lamp at a g-sale for .50 cents.  Not a fan of brass but aqua blue...absolutely.  So it looked like this:

Then I spray painted it with Valspar's Gloss Tropical Oasis (aqua blue) for $4 at Home Depot.  Drys quick and looks so cute in my guest bathroom.

At this same fab g-sale, I snagged a flower vase for one buck.  I painted it using the glue, water and food coloring technique I found on Pinterest.   My turned out a little streaky and totally the wrong color.  I don't have a pic of that mess but here's a similar vase where I tried this.

So imagine this green streaking all over and dried. Ugh.   I decided to just spray that puppy Tropical Oasis.  Of course.

I also had purchased some eucalyptus branches at this deal finding garage sale. They were a dark blue and I decided they really were born to be chocolate brown and you guess it...aqua blue.  So I sprayed those too, stuck them in the vase and placed it in the same bathroom.

More spray painting pics coming soon!
