Big Bags

My dear husband bought me the cutest Guess purse for my birthday - see pic. It's orange, big and easy to carry. Let's go back to big. Because it's so big, I can carry my small laptop, wallet, makeup bag, diapers, wipeys...you name it but the key with big purses is to use smaller zip up bags inside to organize the madness. I love the mesh ones because you can see through it without having to open it up. Also, I always place my keys, blue tooth and phone in the outside zip pocket and my extra set of keys in the inside zip pocket.

Imagine you waking up at 7am, turning on the TV and doing your Pilate's, yoga or ab workout within 30 seconds. I love it! My ahem...20 year reunion is approaching and I am trying to get in shape so I do the 12 minute ab work out with Cindy Whitemarsh and any other person on TV for free. What I love best is that the workouts are quick, challenging and you can watch a different trainer each day and not get bored.

G Sales

It's summer time and Garage Sales are in full force. I went to a neighborhood one this weekend with about 5 families hocking their junk for nothing. Most of them had boxes of free stuff - I picked up a pink and green baby doll stroller, a sit and spin and a little people doll house for $1. My daughters love the "new toys" but I am sure will be bored with them in a week.

Clothing Swap

Imagine a large dining room table filled with women's clothes sizes 2 - 3xl, some tasty margaritas, burgers and home made hot pasta dishes...We did just that last Saturday. Women's Clothing Swap #1. This event in my book gets five chocolate noodles. I brought my two girls and they had some other kids to play with, met some new friends and old friends and then we all went shopping! I literally filled an entire suitcase with clothes and brought it to the swap and left home with the same. In the end, we had plenty of picked over garments to make a nice Goodwill donation.

The new tortellini

My daughter Laney's favorite dish is "chocolate noodles" or in adult speak "tortellini". Who doesn't like chocolate right? So here is my site with my favorite things to eat, do, watch, buy....you get the point.
